Today, lifelong Alaskan Mary Peltola cast her ballot in Anchorage, joining Alaskans across the state in exercising her right to vote. Later in the morning she  joined supporters in get-out-the-vote efforts around Anchorage.

“Affordability, abundance, and Alaska priorities are on the ballot today, and I encourage my fellow Alaskans to get out and vote today before polls close” said Mary Peltola. “There is too much at stake to sit this election out. Together we can take on corporate greed, lower costs, and put Alaska first – and it starts at the ballot box.”

Across the campaign, Mary has heard from Alaskans suffering the fallout of DC price hikes who are finding it harder and harder to afford gas and groceries while making a life in Alaska. Across every conversation, the message from Alaskans is clear: DC price hikes are harming the Alaska way of life, and people want a senator who will actually bring down costs and put Alaska first.

Nearly 17,500 Alaskans have signed up to help elect Mary to the Senate following her announcement of bold plans to lower costs, save our fish, boost oil and gas production, take care of our veterans, and fix the rigged system in DC.
