Mary rallied Alaskans at Mat-Su Valley canvass launch ahead of Tuesday primary.

This past weekend, hundreds of Alaskans knocked over 12,000 doors to get out the vote and elect lifelong Alaskan Mary Peltola to the U.S. Senate – a massive show of grassroots force that signals Alaskans are fired up and ready for change.
“I’m so grateful to every one of the over ten thousand Alaskans who have signed up to help us fix the rigged system in DC, restore abundance, and put Alaska first,” said Mary Peltola. “This is a grassroots campaign for working Alaskans — and clearly, Alaskans are ready for a change. Together, we can bring down costs, save our fish, and make Alaska a place of abundance for our kids and grandkids.”
At a canvass launch in the Mat-Su Valley on Sunday, Mary spoke directly to fired-up Alaskans ready to talk to their neighbors about the importance of voting on Tuesday and in November for candidates who will put Alaska first. Mary pledged to take on the rigged system in DC that allows self-dealing politicians to profit at Alaskans’ expense, and laid out her plan to lower costs and fight for Alaska.
The energy at the canvass launch and at similar events across the state reflect the broader groundswell of support building for Mary and her Alaska first campaign. More than 13,000 Alaskans from over 190 different towns and communities across the state have signed up to help elect Mary. With the primary tomorrow and fewer than 80 days until the November general election, volunteers with the Alaska First Coordinated Campaign have knocked over 46,000 doors total – having conversations with their neighbors about the importance of sending Mary to the Senate to bring down costs, restore our fisheries, fix the rigged system in DC, and put Alaska first.
