Mary Peltola: “When both parties are attacking you, you’re doing something right”
Today, the Alaskans for Mary launched the first TV ad of the general election, “For Alaska,” highlighting Mary’s track record of taking on anyone, from any party, to stand up for Alaska.
The 30-second spot will air statewide on TV and CTV.
Alaskans know that Mary is an independent voice who puts Alaska first, earning her a reputation as “one of the least loyal Democrats” in Congress. As one of her first major actions in office, she stood up to her own party – including the Biden administration – to green light the Willow Project, create good paying jobs, and increase energy production. As a proud gun owner, Mary will always break with her own party to stand up for Alaskans’ Second Amendment right to bear arms. She also secured more than $200 billion in border security and immigration enforcement funding, including funding for the “largest Border Patrol workforce in the Nation’s history to keep our communities safe.”

“Mary Peltola is a lifelong Alaskan who will always put Alaska first,” said Alaskans for Mary Campaign Manager Cheryl Bruce. “Mary has traveled across the state and heard from countless Alaskans who are sick and tired of Lower 48 partisan politics. That’s why she’s running for U.S. Senate, to fix the rigged system in DC that is making life harder and more expensive across the state. From securing our border, to fighting for energy jobs, to protecting Alaskans’ right to bear arms, Mary is willing to stand up to anyone – from any party – to do what’s right for Alaska.”
SCRIPT:
MARY PELTOLA: There’s only one thing that matters to me: getting the job done for Alaska.
And I’ll take on anyone, including Democrats, anyone in the Lower 48, who doesn’t understand what Alaska needs.
They don’t get that resource development is about our survival.
They don’t get that firearms are for feeding our families and protecting ourselves.
That a secure border keeps all Americans safe.
When both parties are attacking you, you’re doing something right. Alaska first, always. I’m Mary Peltola, and I approve this message.
