ALASKA – With 100 days until the November general election, lifelong Alaskan, former fishing boat captain, and military mom Mary Peltola is earning unprecedented grassroots support from Alaskans across the state who are embracing her campaign to fix the rigged system in DC, lower costs, and put Alaska first.

“In 100 days, Alaskans will elect a Senator who actually fights for them — to fix the rigged system in DC, lower costs, and put Alaska first – and that person is Mary Peltola,” said Alaskans for Mary Campaign Manager Elisa Rios. “Alaskans want a Senator who works for Alaskans, not their own bottom line, Lower 48 campaign donors, or the rigged DC system that’s raising our prices and hurting Alaska. That’s exactly why record numbers of Alaskans are stepping up to support Mary’s campaign and why Alaska is going to elect Mary on November 3rd.”

As Mary continues to meet with Alaskans in every corner of the state, her Alaska first message is driving unprecedented grassroots support from Ketchikan to Kotzebue. More than 10,000 Alaskans from over 160 different towns and communities across the state have signed up to help elect Mary. Volunteers with the Alaska First Coordinated Campaign have knocked nearly 25,000 doors to speak with their fellow Alaskans about the importance of electing Mary to fix the rigged system in DC and lower costs, leading to record-breaking support for Mary from every borough and census area in Alaska. Mary recently earned the endorsement of the Alaska AFL-CIO, because she “will fight day in and day out to put the lives of workers first” and “address the kitchen-table issues of healthcare, affordability, and childcare.”

While Dan Sullivan’s popularity continues to decline after repeatedly supporting a price-hiking war in Iran and recent bombshell revelations about his ties to corporate special interests harming Alaska, Mary has introduced popular policy plans to lower costs and put more money back in Alaskans’ pockets, restore abundance to our fisheries, and fix the rigged system in DC.

In recognition of Mary’s undeniable momentum across Alaska, the popularity of her Alaska first policies, and the unpopularity of Dan Sullivan’s price-hiking agenda, Sabato’s Crystal Ball and Cook Political Report have both shifted this race in Mary’s direction in the recent months, terming it a toss-up.

Alaskans will send Mary Peltola to the Senate this November to put Alaska first.
