ALASKA – Today, the Alaska First Coordinated Campaign announced that more than 10,000 Alaskans have signed up to help elect Mary Peltola to the U.S. Senate – an unprecedented show of grassroots force that signals Alaskans are fired up and ready for change.
“I’m so grateful to every one of the over ten thousand Alaskans who have signed up to help us fix the rigged system in DC, restore abundance, and put Alaska first,” said Mary Peltola. “This is a grassroots campaign for working Alaskans — and clearly, Alaskans are ready for a change. Together, we can bring down costs, save our fish, and make Alaska a place of abundance for our kids and grandkids.”
The 10,543 signups represent over 160 different towns and communities across Alaska, and reflect Alaskans’ enthusiasm for leadership that puts Alaska first.
Mary has been running a robust grassroots campaign, holding community meet and greets in small towns, cities, and rural villages across the state to speak with Alaskans directly about the scarcity their communities are facing. As Alaskans endure crushing DC-driven price hikes and collapsing fisheries, they know Mary will fight for them, and they’re showing up in record numbers to send her to the U.S. Senate.
